Keeping this quote in mind in the year 1984, in the land of while tiger i.e. Rewa, Geeta Jyoti School was born. It started with two rooms to provide quality education to every child of the society led by a visionary Educator, Social activist Shree Rajendra Awasthi Ji who believed in the transforming power of learning as Missions more than just a School. His remarkable contribution and dedication to the school set a mile stone of success in the field of education. The two room School now expanded into a fully fledged Senior Secondary School with technology oriented modern labs and library with an open play ground where students not only to studied but dreamed. Student became achievers, value oriented, dedicated and disciplined. After four decade of long journey, the school began to define itself not just as a school, but as a center for holistic development emphasizing academics, sports, arts and ethics.

The same legacy put forwarded by Mr. Arpit Awasthi, Mrs. Swati M. Awasthi and Mr. Abhimanyu Awasthi to take this institute to the next level and now Geeta Jyoti Group of Institutions an umbrella under which multiple institutes come in to being : Geeta Jyoti College of Education, MSM Pharmacy College and Ma Sharda Devi D.El.Ed. College and stand as a beacon of knowledge in entire Vindhya Region.

The Journey of Geeta Jyoti School will continue to inspire, educate and transform the knowledge to shape the future hence,
